What is a Boot Jacket?
A Boot Jacket is a silicone boot cover that is designed specifically for equestrian riding boots. It protects the boot from the elements. It is made with a large zipper in the front so is easy to put on and take off. There is a slit on the heal so it can be put on over spurs. A Boot Jacket is meant to protect the boots in the barn, around the showground and in the ring. Invented by Abbi Bentz, whose daughter is an equestrian, she had the idea many years ago to find something that would protect her daughters boots while she wasn’t in the show ring. She would wear her boots while mucking stalls, grooming and hosing off horses and while walking around the farm or showgrounds. Since getting her to change in and out of her boots was impossible, Abbi decided the solution was to invent a product that can be worn over the riding boots to protect them.
Is this Patented and/or Trademarked?
Boot Jacket is patented! Abbi received a Utility Patent on her design and the name Boot Jacket is trademarked along with the EquiParent motto Equestrian Tested..Parent Approved which is the idea of trying to invent or promote products that equestrians would use to better the whole family’s experience.
What sizes are available?
Boot Jackets are currently available in Small, Medium and Large sizes. There is a suggested range of shoe sizes that each Boot Jacket is intended to fit.
Is there any kind of warranty on the Boot Jacket?
Boot Jackets are made of silicone and are worn on your feet so like any shoe-based product there isn’t a warranty. Boot Jackets are not meant to be worn on rocky terrain or come in contact with sharp objects, so please be cognizant of your surroundings. Boot Jackets are also not protective of heavy objects hitting your feet while wearing them. Please contact us with any concerns you may have about the quality of the product so we can address appropriately.
What kind of care or maintenance is required for Boot Jackets?
After you wear your Boot Jackets you should hose them off to get any residual dirt or mud off them. After rinsing place them in the mesh storage bag provided and hang them up to dry until the next use.

Instead of ruining your boots in rain and mud they are basically slip covers to ride in, but they have spots for spurs so you don't have to poke holes in them.
They aren't bulky so you don't have to pack muck boots to shows. Comfy to ride in i didn't even notice really.
Boot Jacket you nailed it. " Kelly - Dallas
"These are by far the best "Boot/Shoe" covers. I've had mine for almost a year now and they are amazing, they last, good quality, they don't slip off and I can use them even over my shoes when I have no boots on. I totally recommend them if you are around horses all the time like me." - Lauren Martinez
"I wanted to send in a review on the boots jackets! They are amazing!!! I’ve had them about 3 weeks now and it saves me so much time not having to take my boots off all of the time to shower horses. They have held up great so far, and are super easy to rinse off at the end of the day! Love that they are protecting my boots from all of the elements in the barn- dirt, sand, hay, mud…. Highly recommend!!" - Jess -Serenity Farm Equine
"The first time I wore your boot jackets, it was a rainy day in April. Nothing like jumping right into the yucky footing with them on over a brand new pair of paddock boots and half chaps. Puddles were everywhere and the mud - who knows how deep it was - mixed with manure in the paddock filled with horses... I went out, got the horse I’d ride that day and hoped for the best.
It was still raining at my ride time, so just beforehand, I hosed the boot jackets off while I was still wearing them and hopped on. Nothing interfered with the feel of the stirrups under foot, the feel of my horse, or the horse’s ability to feel and accept my aids (dressage)...
I was absolutely thrilled when I took them off at my car and tossed them in a bucket for a good cleaning when I got home. The boot jackets provided excellent protection under the worst conditions (New England in the spring!)… and my new paddock boots and half chaps were still looking new.
They’ve held up very well (2 months so far), wear, rinse, repeat...
Bravo~
Kindest regards,"- Adrienne N. Neary
“We invest so much in our horses and our equipment so keeping them in the best shape possible is a priority. I love my Boot Jackets. They are easy to put on and take off and protect my riding boots, and all kinds of weather! And the best part is that I can ride in them!” - Cindy Screnci
"..Wear them over your boots, and there's even a spot for spurs. After a day in dirt, footing, mud, whatever, take them off, and your boots are in great shape! They're especially perfect for shows. Very grateful. Go get yourself some!"
